Export & Logistics
At ACCESS TIMBER, we manage the complete export chain — from sawmill to destination port. Full documentation, quality control, and on-time delivery for every shipment.
How We Ship
FOB — Free On Board
Timber is loaded onto the vessel at the port of origin (Douala, Libreville, or Bata). The buyer arranges ocean freight and insurance from the port of loading. Preferred for buyers with established freight relationships.
CIF — Cost, Insurance & Freight
We handle everything — including ocean freight and cargo insurance — to your nominated destination port in Europe, the Middle East, or Asia. Ideal for buyers who want a fully landed price with no surprises.
Primary Ports of Loading

From Forest to Port — Our Export Process
- 1
Order Confirmation
We confirm your species, grade, dimensions, volume, and Incoterm. A proforma invoice is issued for your approval.
- 2
Sourcing & Production
Timber is sourced from our network of licensed concessions and partner sawmills. Logs are processed to your exact specifications.
- 3
Quality Control & Grading
Each batch is graded to international standards. Our team inspects dimensions, moisture content, and surface quality before packaging.
- 4
Export Documentation
We prepare the full documentary package: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, and EUDR traceability data.
- 5
Container Loading
Timber is loaded into 20ft or 40ft containers. Loading is supervised to maximise container capacity and protect cargo integrity.
- 6
Shipping & Tracking
Once the vessel departs, we provide bill of lading and tracking details. Typical transit: 12–18 days to Northern Europe.
Export Documentation Included
EUDR Compliance & Traceability
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), taking effect in December 2026, requires verifiable proof that timber was not sourced from deforested land after 31 December 2020.
For every EU-destined shipment, we provide:
- GPS geolocation coordinates of the harvest plot
- Legal harvest permits and concession documentation
- Species identification verified at source
- Chain-of-custody traceability from forest to port
- Due diligence statements to support your EUDR compliance filing
